Overall Vision

We provide manual washing machines for up to 50% of the world who currently hand wash clothes (predominantly women and girls), resulting in a significant reduction in time, water, and physical effort.

We aim to transform these resource savings into socio-economic opportunities, creating a foundation for gender equality, self sufficiency and greater well-being.

1. Input

The Divya Manual Washing Machine: A manual, non-electric machine designed through user-led research.
Partnerships formed with NGOs, INGOs and corporates.
Monitoring and evaluation.

2. Activities

Distribution: Delivering machines to families and communities in low-income, low-resource, and displaced settings.
Training: Training users on how to use the machine.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuous data collection and user feedback.
Partnership Development: NGOs, INGOs and corporates.
